Any slight changes and the arm will droop but it's easy enough to adjust to get everything back in the air again. It seemed like the best choice of arms available that would hold my surface pro 4. Service was prompt too so very happy with that. UPDATE: 6 months plus later. Still incredibly happy with this purchase for my Microsoft Surface Pro 4. I can leave the arm positioned high up and it will still be in the same position the following morning. Great for being able to use the Surface Pro as a computer monitor with ability to plug in a keyboard via the USB port on the side or for those who prefer using a Bluetooth keyboard. One other thing is that in the box comes an Allen key which is there for a reason if you think about it!!! Its purpose is to tighten the little button head bolts which are on the arms and this will add a further tightening of these if needed. I use it primarily for playing my Nintendo Switch and as a tripod for filming overhead table shots. For the Switch, it fits very securely and manages to keep in place despite the weight. My arms get tired if I play it in handheld mode for too long so I have it set so I can play while I'm lying down. I like how the clamps allow for access to the charging port when I put my phone in when watching videos. I've recently gotten into illustration and wanted to film my work in progress. I'd looked into camera tripods but they were a bit more than I was willing to pay for something with I'd only casually use. I've been using this instead, just tying my camera with some string to secure it since it doesn't fit quite right. It works wonderfully. It's so easy to angle it just as I want, it keeps is position. The only thing is that there's no way to secure the position at the base so I do find that at times, it 'swings' a little to a stopping point.
