Obviously, there's the associated issues that creep in a bit, with using such a lens, such as distortion and clarity but when you want some serious power, it does just that. Review: Great optics but dodgy screw. - For the money this is a great barlow lens, especially for a noob like myself when studying the moon through the scope, you really can see craters within craters. However, I find the fixing screw to be very fiddly and it has to come out so far to remove my lens that it easily falls out, another thing is when using this through my camera adaptor, it seems to add a strange light artifact towards the centre of the shot, bearing in mind this only happens through the adaptor so I'm thinking it's more of the setup rather than the barlow lens.
