Q: Won't the soil fall through the holes?

A small amount of soil will fall through when filling the pot but after several waterings it’s very minimal.

Q: How do I know when to water?

I just stick a finger in the hole to check.

Q: How to attach rope to hang?

Poke the metal piece through the holes from the outside of the planter and straighten the metal once it’s through the hole.

Q: Has anybody experienced moldy soil or fungus gnats with use of these?

The composition of the soil will determine the mold
