I had them installed by America's Tire for $60 labor. They were programmed successfully and worked fine for about 3 weeks. Then the problems started... One of the sensors decided to "unpair" itself from the vehicle after a few weeks, resulting in the dreaded TPMS malfunction light on the dash. I took the car to America's Tire and they used their TMPS scan tool to reprogram the TPMS via the car's OBD-II port. Unfortunately this is the only way to do a TPMS relearn on my vehicle. America's Tire was nice enough to do this for free, since I had paid for TPMS installation recently. The sensors then worked fine for about 3 days before malfunctioning again. I took the car back to America's Tire and they did another TPMS relearn for free. This one lasted about 24 hours before the TPMS light came back on again. So basically, these cheap sensors have to be constantly re-paired to the vehicle. I should have just spent the extra money for OEM. Prior to install you need to write down the TPS number on each sensor and mark where they will be installed. Then upon programming each code needs to be entered and the SUV ECU needs to be set to "Relearn" . Take the the SUV for a quick 5 minute drive and make sure to also include air pressure check on your "spare" tire. Our Toyota Highlander includes that TPS as well even though it's 9 years old, other wise the TPS light won't turn off.
