Bought as my first sound decoder, I removed the basic dcc decoder I had fitted to my Bachman 3F 0-6-0 loco, and after realising I was trying to plug in upside down duh! added the Hornby module and plugged in the sugar cube speaker. I was using a Bachman dcc controller. Using iPhone the app installed, signed in and it quickly found the device on bluetooth. I created a profile and uploaded a photo of the Fowler 3F, run the updates to the firmware. I selected out the nearest steam loco profile for a 4F loco, and loaded it on took about 15-20min. Has worked brilliantly with intuitive controls has lots of fun. Selected the largest speaker box and superglued onto the weight plate in the tender, snug fit, coiled wire around box and the tender went back together. Sound quality excellent. Impressed with switch over between dcc manual control and bluetooth, works without issue.
