It glides on easily and does stay put once on. I don't usually use a pencil, so it took me a while to get used to the difference, but overall I would recommend. Annoyingly when I came to sharpen it using the sharpener attached to the end, some of it broke off in the sharpener, but that is a small gripe as overall it is a good product, doesn't irritate the eyes and for mature skin it doesn't drag.
