I've trusted this brand since the 1970's. The only concern I've ever had with Monroe, was a recently purchased pair of load adjusting (external spring) shocks for the rear of a WJ Jeep (1999-2004 Grand Cherokee); the fitting on the top end is tight against the unibody (despite trying washers as shims) because the top of the shock is wider than the OEM shock. It isn't making noise - but, I haven't driven it much since installing - I'll be checking on it occasionally. Given the orientation of the shock, I don't expect it to move/rub much. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Value! *by T***C on November 13, 2023* Great product, just as described. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great shocks and very easy to install *by C***. on September 30, 2010* I put these on the front of my Jeep Grand Cherokee (2000) and they fit perfectly and made the ride super smooth. I had old ones that were 130k OEM and weren't doing anything for me. Here's an removal tip that wasn't immediately apparent to me.....on the top stem of the old front shock, use a wrench to hold the bolt (15mm, I think) and then use a socket wrench to turn the stem (if yours is hexagonal OEM). Not vice versa like the Hayne's manual says. Use lots of PB buster on the bolts and go slow, it helps with the drivers side bolt that is squeezed in there by the brake master cyclinder.
