I can only feed this to my dog due to meat allergies and all other vegan options cause her anal gland to flare up. **Q: Why vitamin D2 as opposed to D3?** A: Most but not all D3 is animal derived and this is a vegan dog food. There is one vegan D3 on the market called Vitashine derived from lichens.
