First you have eight uprights. Take one and slot one of the long side supports into it, you will need a rubber mallet for this, you may also need to bend the parts on the support with your fingers to be able to align the support. Take a second upright and slot the other end of support into it. You now have two uprights with a support towards the lower part of the upright. Take a third upright and a smaller support with the same slot pins as the larger support. Careful here because there is a shelf support similar to the side supports. Clip in the small support in line with the long support. Carry on like this until you have four uprights with two long supports and two short supports. Look online to view pictures if you need to. Start again fitting supports to the height of which you want the next shelf to be at. Fit supports here. When you get to join the the next four uprights, there is a little bracket that you fit to the top of the lower section and to the lower of the upper section. They will slot in like the shelf supports. Fit upper uprights. Continue fitting supports at the desired heights that the shelves will be. There are eight rubber feet, fit four to the bottom using the rubber mallet. If you are putting a shelf right at the very top you will not need the four other feet as the self will cover uprights but if not it will be wise to fit the top rubber feet. It will stop cutting yourself on rough metal edges. Once all uprights are on and the feet are fitted, then you can put the supports on for the shelves. What I did was bend the outer fingers of the support right angles to the support and slot the support into the slots on the shelf supports. I bent them in opposite directions so to give a stronger support. Once in I used a knife to bend the finger inward to keep the support in place. I then fitted the shelf and carried on this way until complete. Please take care with tools and knives don't hurt yourself. Do not use any other type of hammer and do not use the mallet with force you will damage the item.
