Review: An Effective Bug Zapper Bulb - I like the effectiveness of this AMUFER bug zapper bulb on attracting and killing fruit flies in my home. About three months ago, I came back from a long vacation and noticed there were a lot of tiny fruit flies inside my home. I then bought a 11W bug zapper to deal with the issue. It killed a lot of fruit flies, but the bulb went bad after just 3 weeks. After this experience, I was more judicious in buying another bug zapper. I did a lot of online comparison, and chose a 18W AMUFER bug zapper, because claimed durability. After receiving the product, I was offered extended product warranty which I was very pleased. The 18W AMUFER bug zapper really has done its job. It has killed a lot more fruit flies than the 11W zapper, based on daily fruit fly body counts. Now I don’t see fruit flies around. But I know the issue is not completely resolved, because there are new fruit fly bodies show up around the zapper every day. Since I like the 18 W AMUFER bug zapper so much, I decided to buy a 18W AMUFER bug zapper bulb as a backup.
