Review: I spent a great deal of time considering which CCTV system to buy ... - I spent a great deal of time considering which CCTV system to buy to protect my house and garden with a limited budget of around £200 before finally deciding on the SANNCE. The system arrived very quickly and was extremely easy to set up - despite the instructions being a poor translation from the original Chinese. Essentially you plug in each camera cable directly into the hard drive and then plug in the hard drive to a power socket. The hard drive can then be connected with any monitor using a serial cable allowing you to view the recorded footage as well as plugging it into the LAN port of your wireless router which gives you the option of watching the live view on your smartphone or tablet using the free to download P2P App. The cameras seem good quality and include an integral IR LED lamp for night use. Daytime footage is very clear, full colour and stutter free. Night footage is limited by the power of the IR lamp which effectively illuminates around 30' from the camera however within this distance the resolution is pretty good and certainly one of the best that I've seen among domestic systems. Setting all four cameras to constant record at the highest resolution still gives around 15 days of recording time on the hard drive though obviously reducing the resolution or setting a channel to record only on motion activation would dramatically increase this. The system has various other features such as allowing an email alert to be sent when motion is detected however I've found that this is set off by rain and thus is not really practical if using the cameras outside. Finally the software included to convert the footage format from H.264 to MPEG is pretty poor but there are numerous other programs that do the job that can be downloaded from the internet. I have now had the system for around 5 months with the cameras all positioned outside in all weathers and the footage has been good enough to secure a prosecution at court as well as to prove the innocence of another individual for another incident. Just recently one of the cameras began to deteriorate until the IR failed completely. On inspection I found the casing had filled with water suggesting a leak in the seals which had destroyed the LEDs and internal wiring. I therefore checked the other three cameras and found that they all appeared unaffected suggesting that this was a single defective camera rather than an inherent defect. Nonetheless I contacted the seller through desertcart to let them know and was delighted when I received a replacement camera within three days of my email. Very impressive. In summary this system provides good - evidential - quality footage in both daylight and night conditions, is simple to set up and easy to use. When the excellent customer service is taken into consideration I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone looking to protect their homes or offices on a budget.
Review: Excellent value for money home CCTV system - I've had this system in for 10 months now, so it's about time I wrote a review. Self-installed (and I'm certainly no electrician), I only needed a power-drill and ladders to get the job done. It's so simple to get the cameras pointed exactly how you want them with the image streamed direct to the phone app. The 4 cameras continuously recording all at the same time in the highest quality onto the inbuilt 1TB hard-drive, store the last 14 days worth of 1080p footage at 25fps before the older files are overwritten in my experience. This is plenty long enough in my opinion. And if you only have 2 cameras set to record and the other 2 to just monitor, then the storage time on the "recording" cameras goes up to over a month! Choose from the multiple options of frame sizes, frame rates and image quality and compression settings to meet your particular needs. Once you've read the manual and watched some YT tutorial videos the GUI starts to make sense, allowing you to tailor the system to your needs. Such as Face Detection, Human Detection, Motion Detection and the various alarms that can be set to send alerts straight to your phone. For example, using Motion Detection and selecting a particular area of the screen in front of the door, a doorbell now sounds on my phone before the person has even had the chance to reach the door to knock on it. This is also handy when delivery drivers leave parcels on the doorstep. Anyone comes near that package and I'm alerted straight to my phone. I have had one of the cameras become fogged up recently, so I contacted the manufacturer and they immediately sent out a replacement camera. So a huge 10/10 for exceptional customer service too. This CCTV system has already caught a thief stealing ladders and a hit and run on my car so has paid for itself already, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone in the market for a CCTV system to deter, identify and protect your home.

A: We sell systems with or without hard drive, please check carefully in the title and choose the one you need, if you want to install a hard drive on your own, you can choose a hard drive up to 4TB.

**Q: I can view remotely via my mobile phone, although it eats the battery! Is it possible to access via the internet on laptop, if so how do you do it?**
A: Yes you can view remotely via computer or tablet but how its done is beyond my IT capability's, sorry

**Q: How easy is this system to install. How easy are the cameras to install outside. Would it need a proffesional to do this ???**
A: Hi,

I only needed on camera for the front of the house - but put a lot of time into location planning before I started. 

I wanted to use the app for remote access to the camera, so my box needed a wired connect to router.  I measured the cables between the box, camera, power and router to determine the optimal location for each before any drilling that minimised any wires on show. 

Once I was sure of the locations - the Install was fairly simple.  The angle i wanted meant the camera was about 2 meters off the ground so I could use a standard ladder.  I drilled through the external wall with a 5mm masonry first as a guide, then used 20mm masonry.  Ran the cable through, tested the system, then fixed the camera to the outside wall. 

Took me about an hour in total.  

If you have a decent drill, bits, ladder and fixings, you should be fine to do it yourself

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It was easy to set up and works very well

I bought this system after we had something stolen from our garden one night in September 2014. It was easy to set up and works very well, although i have not worked out yet how to set up the online viewing etc, I think i will need plenty of time to work through that. Two months later in December, a fault occurred in the DVR, no pictures on the screen, so i contacted the seller via email through Amazon, after which i sent it back to them, they sent a new one in its place via city link who unfortunately went bust and i had to make a 40 mile trip to pick up the package - twice, first time they were closed. Anyway, through all of this Direct Digi Sales have been excellent in their help with this problem, responding to emails quickly, getting a technician to ring me, and compensating me for the trips i made to pick up the package. So far, the new one is now working fine. The picture quality is good during the day and not to bad at night either. A good price for a good system, fingers crossed.
