Review: Solid lock at a good price - The directions are extremely lacking but luckily the app makes it pretty self explanatory, with the exception of remote unlock i still cant figure out how to do it. And there is no instructions how to do it in the app or instructions....And the smart cards dont work well at all. IMPORTANT: there is a thick plastic cover over the fingerprint reader and number pad that fits so tight you wouldnt even know it was there. (I almost returned the lock because it would only read my FP maybe 1 out of 4 times for the first week i had it. Dont worry theres all types of backup ways to open it should the fp scanner not work. from physical keys to blootooth unlock) till i found the plastic cover. Remove it and the fingerprint scanner works great. Easy installation. Easier than most non digital locks ive installed. Good product fair price. Fix your instructions manufacturer. there must be a couple of people in china who know how to translate to english. ...

The only minor issue is the finger print scanner doesn't work well when your finger is wet or just recently wet. We use the finger print scanner he most since its the fastest and easiest. The pin code works fine. It comes with physical keys as well as RFID cards. I setup the cards, pin, and finger prints in the APP which is also very easy to use. Oh yeah, you can unlock the knob with the app also thru blue tooth connection. I wish I would have found this knob sooner because would have saved me some annoyances of locking myself out of the bedroom. The install was easy, but i have technical skills. However, if you can change a regular door knob then you should be able to install this one.

**Q: Why doesnt it lock?  Its not locking anymore.  Ive tried activating and deactivating the "Normally Open Mode" and nothing happens**
A: Hello, if the thickness of the door is less than 35Cm, you need him to cut the rectangular square strip by 1Cm, or the door side and lock cylinder are not aligned, causing the door to not close properly. Please adjust the side buckle. Thank you.

**Q: Can this be used on an exterior door?**
A: I wouldn't use it for exterior. It's too flimsy. It's good for keeping children out of closets or rooms you don't want them in. Or in my case if you have a dog that can open doors lol.

**Q: The handle isnt locking anymore. Does anyone know how to fix that?**
A: There are two reasons, one is that the passage mode is activated and the button on the rear handle is continuously pressed to exit the passage mode; 2. The side and lock cylinder are not aligned, causing the door to not close properly. Please adjust the side buckle.

**Q: Is this waterproof? Meaning, can I put this in the outside of my house?**
A: Honestly I’m not sure. I use it on the outside but I have a large overhang.

it worked fine for like 1 month and after that it went dead tried to charge it but never kept the charge and it locked me out of my room. not recommended at all
