It looks and feels like leather. It is lined like leather. It fits like leather.The only real proof of it being faux leather was the smell. I have only had this jacket for a couple of days, have worn it one time so I do not know how it will hold up in the long run. I am 5'10", 160 lbs with big shoulders, and ordered a 2x because the reviews said it ran small and an XL was not available. When it showed up, the 2x was way too big. Two days later, I went back to look again and they had restocked the sizes. I ordered an XL and it fitted well in the shoulders with a little extra room in the body.
