L2TP and IPSec tunnels id what we use mostly. We bought this ARM based unit to test the ZeroTier functionality. **Q: How does the firewall affects the performance of that router?** A: I don't have a direct answer, but I have no problem with Gigabit speeds through the firewall. Very pleased with mine. **Q: Does it support ddns?** A: Via scripting you can choose a DNS service.
