I love that you are able to recharge it, no batteries needed! Another added feature is that the magnet is strong and it is easy to remove from the magnetic base. The magnetic base comes with the option to screw into the cabinet base with included screws. Or to use the included stickers to hold it to the surface you want to use it on. As I write this review, the light comes on and off...the motion detection is consistently inconsistent, which is frustrating as this light is really quite amazing despite the inability to predict what it is going to do. I can be standing near it, wave my hand under it...nothing. Sit on the couch write a review...it comes on and off...and no one is there. The instructions indicated that it will go off after a few seconds, but how do I know which mode it is on, trial and error? I would recommend this product to persons with more patience than myself, the light is bright, with three color settings the options are great. A dimmer on the remote, which works well, helps you to adjust the brightness, which is also a wonderful feature. I would purchase this product again if I knew exactly how to use it.
