SAMODRA Elongated Toilet Seat, Slow-Close, Easy Clean & Change Hinges, White Toilet Seat (Elongated/White)

Two out of the three toilet seats in our house are slow close and closing the third one always resulted in forgetting and it slamming. We got this and it is the perfect size for our elongated toilet and was no issue installing! It was simple and straightforward to put the seat on and tighten the bolts and the slow close is such a nice feature so there's no more slamming toilet.

I was replacing the existing seat, with a broken hinge from being over tighened when it was installed by the landlord. This was an easy replacement at a very inexpensive cost. It arrived quickly and I was able to put it on without any tools (the same cannot be said for the removal of the old one). The instructions were pretty direct and took very little thought. I really did like that it came with rubber gaskets for the top and a rubber stopper for the bottom. The parts are plastic, including the screw and nut so you really don't want to use tools on this. Luckily, you don't need any to install this like a boss.

This is your typical soft close plastic toilet seat. It was easy to install. Instructions were clear. Only really needed a screw driver for installation if you don't have the hand grip to tighten. I have a little wobble in mine but it is comfortable to sit. It soft close fine so that's a plus. The white matches my white toilet.

Ordered for adding to our extra downstairs bathroom, which is under construction, so can't install just yet. What I can say is the seat is nicely packaged, solid, and the slow-closing mechanism works great. There's nothing fancy here, just a basic white toilet seat, but the quality is good for the price. Keep in mind this is ELONGATED, so don't expect it to fit just any toilet. You'll want to make sure your toilet is compatible. I'll update my review once we're able to install.

It fits elongated toilets fine and the product has a durable thickness. The surface is very smooth and its easy to sanitize. It's easy to install and the slow close mechanism is an upgrade from the OEM seat.

The media could not be loaded.  Honestly the composite seat that was just replaced is so much more comfortable than our new SAMODRA Slow-Close Elongated Toilet Seat. Unfortunately the composite seats have a bad habit of attracting stains and moisture and become impossible to clean after a certain point. SAMODRA elongated seat is completely plastic and should wipe clean of any imaginable contaminants with no staining or discoloring if kept clean.Comfort is not the same. SAMODRA elongated seat is hard plastic and feels like so on the bottom. With better contours it could be improved but the reality is it's a pretty plain and basic hard plastic seat.The installation was seriously easy taking only minutes to remove and discard the old composite seat and about the same amount of time installing the new plastic SAMODRA elongated seat. The slow close hinge is a nice added feature and helps keep hands free from possible tainted areas. The color is a stark white and does not match the commodes ivory tone. It is very hard to tell the color difference in pictures but it is much more noticeable in person. A satisfactory purchase and a standard well made product.

I never know how much I would actually love a soft close toilet seat. Instillation was super simple took 3 minutes. Very easy to clean as well. The only downside is that since it's made of thin plastic when the toilet seat is down and you try to sit on it, it kind of buckles. It does bounce right back though. Fit my oval toilet perfectly.
