I planned to plant them in the garden area surrounding our patio, but still needed to do cleanup and mulching of the area before I could plant them. This meant that the bushes had to be maintained in the original pots for over 3 weeks. I kept them watered using this fertilizer, and, surprisingly, the bushes not only got new growth, but even developed a couple blueberries. The directions state 2-4 tbsp. of the plant food should be used per gallon of water, so I have been using 3 tbsp. So, 32 ounces of this fertilizer should last for a while for 2 bushes. I did finally get the blueberry bushes planted, and they are doing well. UPDATE 07/07/25: I have been watering the blueberry bushes with this fertilizer every 2 weeks, and the plants are flourishing. They are healthy and getting a lot of new growth. Hopefully, we get lots of blueberries next year. I do recommend the fertilizer for berry bushes whether new or established. It will provide the food that your berries need to flourish and produce more and larger fruit.
