Review: Actually lays flat unlike some of the non branded ones - Got this on a black Friday deal - we're moving house and I needed something that takes no space up and that I can just whack on the floor, in whatever room I'm clearing, for a quick session to save my back. Well it's perfect for that, it resembles the size and weight of a full A4 binder when folded. It's grippy and there's no chance of tripping over because it lays completely flat unlike some of the others. For the size and convenience you do lose some cushioning but you could pop a bath towel underneath for that.

**Q: How does it compare with Yogo travel mat in terms of packability? (Size when folded)?**
A: If you're looking for this to be your 'stays in my carry on' mat - it is kind of big compared to other travel mats. It folds down great, but it's a thicker mat that I find to be overkill for hotel room yoga (I'm very happy I have it if I get time to hit a studio when on the road though). I use an international size carry on and this mat takes up about 1/4 of my suitcase.

**Q: Is this a good mat to put on top of a studio's mat for added thickness?**
A: It is probably not going to add much thickness.  I purchased it because it is extremely lightweight and portable for frequent air travel.  It is slightly tacky, so good if you sweat, but it doesn’t provide a lot of cushion.

**Q: how much does it weigh?**
A: The description says 1.8 lbs. It seems about that light. Much less and a high end yoga mat for sure. Folds to size of a laptop.

**Q: Has anyone used this outdoors? I want to use for yoga in the park but worried it will be too thin.**
A: I used it outdoors for goat yoga inland grass, and it was fine for me. Also...very easy to clean with..ahem...harsher cleaning chemicals when nature called the goats...

It is nice, light and convenient can carry it anywhere. The plastic smell disaapear after few days. Not for beginners as it is thin and not for sweaty people it could be very slippery if you are sweating alot.
