The logs are just the right size to fit into the back. My only comment would be that the image makes them seem like they are all symmetrical logs, but they are definitely not. They are effective at reaching a reasonable temperature and can continue to operate if you keep fueling them consistently. I've cooked on these logs for several hours at a time without a hitch. They give a really pleasant and subtle wood smoke flavour to pizza's so all things considered I'm very happy. The only minor gripe is I'd like more pieces which are smaller. For the best part they're all nice and chunky but more of them that are half or quarter thickness would help me manage the fire better. The Ooni has a relatively small fire box and burns wood quickly so you need to keep an eye on it or risk a temp drop just as you launch a pizza.
