I got the filter assembly because I needed a small filter that didn't over power my 1 gallon and 3.5 gallon tanks and just fell in love. I needed a small air pump for my small air sponge and saw nicrew had this and you can put it on the tank. It is so easy to use and the size is perfect to keep out of the way. It functions perfectly and is super quiet that i forget it is there. Perfect air flow and the price is a perfect match for the quality.
