If you are looking to put these on a real firearm pay a little more for a nicer product. These are only suitable for air soft/paintball. **Q: How do you switch apertures on the rear sight?** A: You flip it down to the front. I don’t have this particular model, I have another one. Don’t waste your money on these brother. It’s a cheap piece of glass. Spend a little more on a set of Troy battle sights. Or if you want flip up spending a little more for Magpul. This is not fiber optics. **Q: When mounted, how far are the fiber optic sights above the rail?** A: Mine set up about 4 cm or 1.57" above the trough of the rail.
