It also handles single slices on the same setting without over toasting. A big negative is the inadequate length of the slots for for toasting standard english sliced loaf bread. You can only insert the narrow side, which means a small part of the slice doesn't get toasted without reinserting and retoasting. There is also no indicated way of adjusting the toaster for frozen bread. By deduction, I believe this can be done by using the Gluten Free button which extends the toasting time.
