Both of us use these umbrellas daily in warm and sunny weather and they are both still in great working order with no issues at all. The only difference between mine and my sons is that he has a beige one and I have a navy one and mine has faded due to the sunlight but it’s only from normal wear- I ordered another navy one and i ordered the umbrella cover to keep it from fading as much. Perfect size umbrella, I highly recommend.

There were no dimensions in the directions given.

There are two poles. The upper pole measured at 6"..the bottom pole measures 7".

Update: Found cap location and it's been installed. Umbrella looks good and is easy to 'work'. Nice umbrella and was happy that the umbrella pole fit into a previous base (2" diameter) that I had. However there were no instructions that came with it and a 'cap' part fell out of the umbrella as I was carrying it to the base and I'm not sure what it goes to. I hope to eventually figure it out but it would have been easier with a parts list.
