### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helps a child ‘label’ what the feeling is that she’s having and it's OK to talk about that feeling

I just loved this book. A very gentle, thoughtful and respectful book for an 8 year old whose first pony died very unexpectedly. She has very kind and loving parents who reported she cried every night at bedtime and needed to talk about her pony for a week to 10 days. She seemed to work through it as well as could be expected and hoped for. I actually bought a second one for my own children’s book collection.
