Unfortunately, although it looks great and is a fantastic size, it's relatively loose top and lack of a glass cover, makes the item very unstable as a table surface. For example, you couldn't easy trust that a full cup of hot tea or glass of wine wouldn't topple over when placed on the top. This is such a problem that I am going to have to find somewhere to provide me a glass cover at extra cost. It's a shame as the look of the set is lovely and the seats are comfy, but there is a cheap finish that brings it down some what. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Put your feet up *by T***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 25 September 2013* Before you buy this coffee table be aware that the top surface is wicker, so if you want to use it for drinks then a tray is needed. This could be considered an issue to some but due to the fact we us trays to keep a constant supply of cold beverages whilst using the Strathwood Griffen range on the patio then its perfect for us. There is also no issues with breaking glass, cleaning or storage. Best of all its great to put you feet on whilst sitting. I like the lighter colour of this Strathwood Griffen all weather furniture and find it very practical.
