A: Not sure what you are referring to by wax paper. The floss is inside the black tube. The top of the tube has a cutting edge.

It’s compact, easy to carry anywhere, and unlike glass containers I’ve used before (which have broken more than once), this metal case is durable and reliable. The floss itself has the perfect texture to clean my teeth efficiently, far better than any other floss I’ve tried. I don’t use any other now – this is my go-to dental floss.
