Review: Catches fish - Definitely big fish tested. I have both 3000/4000 series. I bought the 4000 last year and love this reel for the cost. The only issue I found over time is the bail engages while in mid throw so I have to push hard to hear that click to lock bail open before throwing bait. Can’t say this will happen to all their reels. So far my 3000 is working pretty well with no issues.

Definitely big fish tested. I have both 3000/4000 series. I bought the 4000 last year and love this reel for the cost.
