This was what he asked Santa for. The reason I chose this over any other track was for the cross section where your cars can run into each other (much like the classic one I had in the 90s). My husband put this together using the instructions provided and it was not easy because of the poor quality of the track supports Once he got it, visually it looked great. However, the lap counter for lane 2 is covered by an overhead track so you are unable to see unless you bend over with your check to the ground. Very disappointing. After reading the directions on how to work your controllers, we put it to the test. Controller 1- does not work AT ALL. (tested it countless of times and in the other port as well, and still nothing) Controller 2- works great! HOWEVER…. We only got 1 out of the 4 cars to actually make it around the track. We tried twisting the coils underneath the car for a better connection but still nothing. My husband has tried troubleshooting everything on it and we have had no luck.
