My only disappointment is that this is Part 2 episodes 15-33. It did not say that in the description. I had thought that Shadow of the Moon / The Sea of Shadow was a different season, but it is actually part 1. I was able to find that out through Wikipedia and got that through Amazon as well. If you can't wait for the remaining 34-45 episodes to be released with English subtitles, the complete series Japanese All-Region blu-ray can be had directly through cdjapan.co.jp or Yahoo Shopping and Amazon.co.jp (through proxy services like buyee.jp). As others have said the sound and video quality are excellent. I really find the story to be so well done. I love the opening and closing theme music and was happy to find that the various soundtrack CD's can still be found from Japan.

This is the second installation of The Twelve Kingdoms and by now you have a solid idea of what this anime is about. It's still really slow in unraveling what's going to happen to the protagonist (which doesn't show up all that often on this one). But the other stories in this box set is just as awesome and majestic and the protagonist. Again, the story is very slow and there is a lot of back story that's being dumped on you, but it's only to help you understand the world that the protagonist was tossed into.Just sit back, relax and enjoy this wonderful masterpice.
