**Q: is autan cooling insect spray to be used after getting bitten by insects or as a repellant?**
A: Hi,If the 'blurb' on the packaging or container says it is a repellant rather than a cooling agent use it as that BUT if it says it is a cooling agent I would say that it was for use after you have been bitten.   I found that it is excellent to use after being bitten as it really takes the itch etc from the bite.   Let it dry properly before covering with clothes.though.   Hope this is useful.Pat S

Arrived quickly and securely. This is a brilliant product and exceeds what it says it will do. Have used it all over the world, I am a bit if a globetrotter for holidays, and even lent it to others to use on their muzzy bites. They were converted to using it too. Will buy it again after it has been used up. No scratching needed after using this! :-)
