Great Way to Keep The Floor Open
I Cant tell you how many times i've had my filming set setup, and end up bumping a tripod because i needed to go grab something or move, or whatever. This is a great option to keep your floor open, and reduce the risk of bumping a light or whatever is on a tripodThis is amazing for being able to simply fold it back up and out of the way when you are done filming or whatever use you may find for this. The arm holds very nicely even with a heavy filming light with a softbox attached. The arm does have a very small amount of flex when fully extended, but some is to be expected when you are levering things out so far, its barely noticeable and I had to put a level on the arm to even notice the flex.Overall this is a game changer for me, and Id love to have more to use for other things, but I only have so much spare wall space in my set.

Perfect for Freeing Up Floorspace
I originally picked this boom arm simply to free up a bit of floorspace in my room. The amount of versatility this boom allows is worth the price alone.Setup and installation was very straightforward, once I decided where I wanted it mounted I was up and running in no time. I used this with a ring light, and with a ball head on the end and the crazy flexibility of this boom, I’m able to easily light just about anywhere in the room I film in.This boom arm feels very sturdy, and while mine is only holding a ring light, it definitely feels capable of holding a decent amount of weight. As someone who films with limited space, this boom arm has been a lifesaver.

Can mount a light above object without clutter.
GSYX Ring Light Wall Mount Triangle Boom Arm with 180 Flexible Rotation Max Adjustable Length 4.4 Feet/135cm for Monolight, Softbox, Reflector, Soft UmbrellaGreat gadget for getting rid of floor eating tripods. I have it mounted to my worktable which has an armature that runs the length of a 12foot work table. I have a small area off the table for product photography. Now i can have a light directly above the product and also swing it around over my worktable as needed. Lots of adjustment options from length to height. Very useful. Holds fast.

Sturdy and saves so much floorspace
This mount really helped me get a large saltbox over a desk, saved some floorspace and is significantly more stable that a boom mounted off a floor stand. i may pick up a few more of these for around the room and use them whenever i can avoid using a traditional floor stand.

Regained my floorspace
I had my light on the stand it came with, which was rickety and not very sturdy. With this wall mount boom, my light is incredibly secure and easily positioned. While I don't use the full length that this can extend to, if I had need, the height this can reach is more than enough. Installation is extremely easy with four anchors and screws. To make it even more secure, I made sure to have one set of the screws go into a stud. So with this wall mount boom I've been able to reclaim my floorspace, reduce clutter, and affix my light in a more secure way than I previously had. This is an awesome addition for any home studio.

Very well made!
This bracket is well made and very useful in the studio! We have a very small in-home photography studio, and this will save us a lot of space by having it attached to the wall so it can be moved to where it is needed and folded out of the way when it is not needed. Our studio lights work easily with it!The only con it has is that it must be installed on a solid wall because of the weight of the bracket and light attached to it. Do not attach it to a sheet rock or plaster wall!

Limited Mounting Hardware Included
It only came with mounting hardware for concrete walls. I had to supply my own hardware to mount on a sheetrock wall. Once mounted the lag screw heads prevent the mount from rotating flat against the wall. It will stick out a little in this instance. You might be able to use different hardware to alleviate this issue. Despite its bulk, I like it. My ring light/webcam are off my desk. That frees up that space for work. Worth it. I just wish the design/execution was a little better thought out.

Floor saver
I own another branded item very similar to this one so I was already educated on this product. It is an amazing floor space saver for small and home studios. I mounted this to hold a light that i typically use as a rim light. Previously the light was supported by a c-stand that just felt like it took up too much space. This wall mount light support is easy to maneuver and gives you a lot of flexibility for positioning. I mainly use a 300w monolight on this and it has proven more than capable of supporting that light as well as any modifier I attach to it. The arm seems to be built well enough to accommodate most of my lighting options. The only concern I have with this mount is that it haves one area that seems to be flimsy and looks as if it will wear over time and give out. There is a rivet that allows some play when adjusting the height collar. I don’t want to keep trusting my equipment on this with this weak point. So I plan to drill out the rivet and replace it with a bolt and screw. This is a good product that can save you a lot of space and time in your small studio, or any studio.
