Being that these are Mattel, they use the resin-printing face screening (aka "pixel face"), but it does not look bad. Over all, most dolls faces looked fine, though my Alice's eyes were printed just a bit higher than normal (but still looked ok), and the Anna I got has a slightly wonky right eye, but not bad enough to be a problem. The accessories and animal companions they come with are cute. They are a good scale, and the painted details had no major issues. The box is a nice display for in-box collectors, though the box is pretty large (13 inches tall, about 44 inches long by 3 inches deep while open, and about 22 1/4 inches long by 6 1/4 inches deep when folded closed). It opens like a book with a cardboard hinge, so would display great on a corner shelf. Over all I think this is a great set both for kids & Disney collectors alike. I wish all of the dolls had saran hair which is the nicer feeling hair fiber, but I like that the outfits are fabric. Review: Got these for my granddaughter for Christmas.
