Review: Vuzix Wrap 310 review - Once you spend the necessary 20-30 minutes tweaking and adjusting the settings and tiny screws on the top, and pick out the best fit nose guard and best fitting ear pieces for the headphones, it's not bad at all. It definitely gets the job done. Definitely not HD quality, but if you want that, you'll pay more for it. This set is a get the job done for a reasonable price set, and they do just that. The audio quality if phenomenal and definitely cancel out external noise to give you a private movie experience. I recommend purchasing the AC adapter from the web site so you won't burn through double a's as they last 6-12 hrs depending on which brand you buy, or grab a set of rechargeable to really get your money's worth. The biggest letdown for me though was that they do not make a component adapter and I was really hoping to be able to play my PSP games on this, but you cannot. Only everything else. So I'll likely return them or sell them in the near future as I wanted to be able to play PSP games on video eye ware. But if you just want a travel solution for watching movies and pics alone for a reasonable price then this gets the job done. Comes with an IPOD adapter for IPOD/Iphone users. -Sgt of Marines
Review: Awesome - Awesome - and - Awesome - I really don't know what to say in regard to the other people who have reviewed this product. Perhaps a newer model or other fixes have been made. The bottom line, I like them, A LOT, and I'm very happy with most every aspect of this purchase. These are reasonably priced and well-worth the money in my opinion. I just spent a long weekend at the in-laws where there isn't TV in the bedrooms and, to be honest, a person could go nuts without some form of a diversion. These glasses fit the bill very nicely. I watched a number of movies that I had digital copies for and had previously downloaded to my iPod. Awesome. Out of the box, these are extremely easy to setup and use. My 13-year old son had these working in a matter of minutes (almost had them setup before the wrapping paper had hit the floor) and he didn't need the manual for any of the setup. You just put in the batteries, plug them in, put them on, and start the movie. That's it. The sound is great and it is easily comperable to any of my more expensive ($60ish) earphones. As you use these glasses, you will become more and more used to them and you will know how to wear them for the best picture. I would estimate that it took me about an hour to really find the sweet-spot; my son seemed to instantly take to them. Adjustments for video and audio are very easy and all on-screen. I was amazed with the picture quality and sound while watching Star Trek, Up, Transformers. I have showed these glasses to a number of people here at work and all were equally amazed with the quality and the entire experience. When I could get my mother-in-law to shut her flap long enough to try them, she even liked them. (If I thought this would shut her up for 10 minutes, I gladly buy her a couple of her own. Hell - I'd even through in an iPod.) I know that I have been responsible for at least 2 other purchases of these glasses... just because I let someone try them for a few minutes. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for an excellent compact video solution. These will be going with me on business flights and vacations from now on. I didn't rate them as a 5-star device because the image quality is great but not HD. I guess you can spend another $200 if you want HD quality. Someone commented that there are a lot of wires. Well, I hate to say it but I don't know how you could do it any differently unless you dropped another $200 for the wireless version. To be honest, there aren't "a lot" of wires. There is a wire to connect to your iPod (etc.) and this connects to your batter pack/controller unit. This connects to your headset and there are two earphones that plug in there. I still have both ears so I need both earphones. But that's it. Pretty straight forward and very simple to use. For reference only, I simply can not watch a movie if either the sound or picture is lacking. I pride myself in having two very good 7.1 surround sound setups w/ 55" LCD TV's at home. I also have a couple of Bose headsets (Quiet Comfort) and their earbuds. My computer has (3) 24" HP displays (triple SLI) with 7.1 surround as well - primarily for video and graphic editing but also for MS Flight Sim. I'm telling you this just so that someone doesn't think that I'm simply accepting these because I have a very low standard. If they were crap - I'd tell you they were crap. Hope this helps.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Vuzix 310XL from Brookstone
*by R***K on November 13, 2011*

I would like to begin by saying that Brookstone customer service worked very hard to make sure that I was satisfied with this product. I ordered this by way of Amazon and the first Vuzix 310XL Wrap Video Eyeware arrived with a 1/8" x 3/16" scratch across the right-side video viewing lens. I called Brookstone and they emailed me a return authorization. I was leaving for a trip and they agreed to hold the replacement package until I returned. This happened as requested. The replacement Vuzix 310XL arrived with a very similar scratch on the left-side video viewing lens. I called Brookstone again and I was informed that they had stopped carrying the Vuzix 310XL but would try to find one, still in stock, at one of the Brookstone stores. Eventually they found a Vuzix 310XL at a Brookstone that was nearby. I went there and exchanged the second scratched product for another (third) Vuzix 310XL. I have to give Brookstone very high marks for the persistence shown by many of their employees. I am very pleased with my experience. I have not had time to actually use the Vuzix 310XL in my work. It will be used for remote photography in a very bright environment. I have connected the Vuzix 310XL to my Olympus E5 and Olympus E620 and report that the Vuzix 310XL setup easily and displayed the Olympus 4/3rds formant perfectly. It was up and running as fast as I could plug in the cables, insert the battery, and turn on the camera and Vuzix 310XL. The setup and access to the menu is extremely easy. I read many reviews about the Vuzix 310XL before my purchase. Because I have not used this in a work situation I will limit my comments about the Vuzix 310XL to references within my experience so far. One reviewer noted a "screen door" or pixilation in the viewed image. Connected to my cameras I did notice some pixilation, this will not be a problem for my use of the Vuzix. Another viewer noted that wide eye spacing may be a problem. I did notice that my eye centers are not accommodated by the Vuzix 310XL. The distance between the viewing lenses is not adjustable. I think that the technician at my eye doctor's office may be able to make or suggest some other alterations to mitigate the problem. I will probably buy the Wrap Lightshield accessory that Vuzix sells. It looks like it might be usefull in bright situations. One last observation is about the Vuzix 310XL packaging. A piece of protective tape was applied to the forward sunglass type lenses, not the viewing lenses. When I removed the tape which only covered a portion of the forward lenses I noticed some abrasion where the tape did not cover the forward sunglass type lenses. This is not a big deal for me as I am sure that the frames will bet beat up in normal use anyway. My only thought about this is, if Vuzix thought it important to protect the forward sunglass type lens, why didn't they cover the entire lens? Better yet, why didn't they tape protect the viewing lenses?
