This problem can be rectified in a matter of seconds by tapping the teeth between two hammer heads along the length of the blade. So both answers are correct depending on the country they are being sold in. Shipping was inexpensive and prompt. The saw cut fast and straight when I received it, but I reduced the set slightly to narrow the kerf and for my purposes this helps me better maintain a straight cut. The brass back is quite substantial and the weight seems just right to aid in cutting. The handle is tight and of a good size for my average size hand and well angled for me as I believe it would be for most people. The handle might be reshaped slightly for personal comfort. I plan to relieve the edges of mine slightly, but this is a matter of personal preference. I believe this saw is a very good tool as it comes, but I am also pleased that it allows one to fine tune it to meet one's own needs or preferences.
