While its primary use is for travelling, I use this bottle every day to filter tap water both in the home and on the go. I've been using it for about 4-6 months daily and have yet to need to replace the filter (I probably refill it around 4 times a day as well!). I love the colour and the handle, which makes it easy to carry with me or even attach to a rucksack when travelling. As other reviews have mentioned, there is a slight issue with leakage, but this may be due to overfilling it.
