They are very lightweight and don't really show any signs of wear after being worn by a 5-year-old every Monday through Friday for the last two months. (All the photos I took were taken after 2 months of use.)I did make one modification to the shoes. They're very light, and relatively thin. I would warn against jumping in puddles or walking on certain terrains. I don't think they'd hold up against very rough surfaces. Otherwise, if you're looking for an affordable pair of shoes for the short term, then these are a good buy! They're fashionable, sans labels, and are faux lace ups (slip ons).
