Remove all surface debris and growth from the area to be treated. Do not dilute, product is supplied ready to use. Apply by brush or spray at a rate of 1 litre per 5 - 10m2 depending on porosity of surface. Leave solution for 20 minutes and then wash down the area with water. It can also be used on tile grout and is also amazingly effective on a rubber washing machine seal (gasket). This stuff seems to keep acting even after initial application. **Q: Can I use this on a rug?** A: It depends on what you are trying to get rid of - this is a green algae killer and is designed to soak into wood. I wouldn’t give the woollen fibres of a carpet much hope of standing up to this chemical. Try something designed for wool **Q: I have rust all down a section of my monocuse render. Would this remove it?** A: Sadly, no **Q: Can this be used on fibreglass roof?** A: Hi there. The product info on the container say it can be used on most plastics so I'd say it would work on fibreglass. It is potentially harmful though so if I were using it on a roof I'd want to avoid it going into the gutters and then into the drainage system. I've used it on pebbledash walls and a wooden fence to good effect. On pebbledash I needed to use a stiff brush and water after applying it to get the full effect but on wood I just left it and it killed off the moss. On fibreglass I'd imagine it would need a bit of stiff brushing too - but maybe not. So it dribbled down the brush handle and on to my hands and wrists when painting above waist height - use gloves etc. I used this on green fence panels and the green disappeared instantly. On coping stones and house walls it didn't have any obvious effect at first - but when I left it on overnight and came back, all the green had vanished.
