The fan transfers heated or cooled air through a wall into a bedroom with the privacy door closed. It is a perfect solution. We have 3 bedrooms so will be buying 2 additional fans.

A: I wouldn't use window to hold it in place but I don't see why you couldn't use it in window.

A: Mine didn't feel hot so probably you should contact customer service for help

A: The duct booster fan will automatically turn on or off based on the temperature of the air in the duct.　It has a heating setting and a cooling setting.　when the air in the duct rises to the heating set-point or drops below the cooling set-point, the device turns on and runs.
