I noticed results right away and every wash after. I have psoriasis and pretty disgusting dandruff that was quite embarrassing. Although is still find flakes here and there when going a few days without a wash, this product is liquid gold to me and I highly recommend giving it a shot. My dandruff has improved 95% and I actually fear that I won’t be able to find this product one day. It is sulfate free too which is a definite plus for color treated hair. My hair is dyed blonde so finding a good dandruff shampoo that wouldn’t cause discoloration was a major concern for me. Needless to say, my color is on point after several uses of this product. I had tried some of the standard dandruff shampoos to treat my itchy, flakey scalp, but they were so harsh and artificial. I always felt like my hair smelled like a locker room and looked frazzled after using them. I also noticed a little thinning, so in desperation I decided to try this shampoo and conditioner out, and I am so glad I did!!!The shampoo lathers well, and I leave it in while I wash my face and upper body (to give the pytherine zinc time to do it's thing). It rinses out cleanly and leaves my hair and scalp feeling clean. The conditioner is nice and thick- a little goes a long way, which is great for my longish hair! I rub it into my scalp and spread it down the length of my hair to the very ends, and then leave it in for a couple of minutes. When I rinse it out it leaves my hair feeling soft and bouncy, and I can even comb gently through my hair without needing extra leave-in conditioner, which is awesome! I feel like a lot of shampoos and conditioners that feel good at first end up leaving a lot of build up, but I have been using this for a while and haven't needed to turn to a clarifying product.I should also mention that the scent is subtle and pleasant. I am sensitive to strong or artificial scents and often look for unscented products, so I was a little nervous, but it has been great! No headache, no lingering odor. Just a nice soothing scent while you are washing or conditioning.For health and beauty nerds: the ph of products has been a big topic lately, and this product is labeled ph balanced, which is good news. I even checked it, and, no surprise, it is in the perfect range to make your skin happy! I am attaching a photo to show my test. :)One other thing worth mentioning: the bottle design is great. I love being able to turn the conditioner upside down without it leaking, so I am confident I will be able to use every last drop! And the bottles are made out of post consumer recycled unbleached product, which is awesome.
