Crime Seen
I am an ultra sensitive empathic intuitive and have been doing readings for 29 years, along with having taught psychic/intuitive development and the tarot. One day, a few months ago, my husband brought home book 1 of this series and I completely fell it love with the series; characters, emotional connection and story line. One of the reasons I so enjoy these books, aside from the excitement of the story, I love the way Victoria describes her psychic sense and the physical and intuitive sensations that she feels in her body, when she is making a connection to her guides/crew. For me as a reader, reading paranormal (excellent writing) books like this, is it allows me to continue to remain open to my own guides and allows me to continue to connect to different ways, to describe sensations, in paying attention to our own intuition. So for all who love a good paranormal story, this is most definitely one to add to your collection.

Worst of the Series
This is the worst of the series. Nothing makes sense. For beginners they already sold the fern st property to a husband and wife who liked the garlic smell. Why are they selling it again in this book. Then why would she need to hire a P.I. and keep it a secret from Dutch. Why not just tell Dutch her suspicions. And then her cooking skills are at a kindergarten level. Seriously she doesn't know the difference between a pork chop and a steak.

Victoria Laurie psychic mystery book
Have been buying one at a time to get the full series! Hard to pull myself away from these books. Eventually want to start reading Victoria Laurie's Ghoul books too! I'm not even a book reader normally, now have found that reading these get my mind off of all the chatter racing through my little brain too!

Another winner from Victoria Laurie!!!!
This is the best of the series - and from the 'preview' at the end for the next installment, it just keeps getting better. Ms. Laurie is hitting her stride, and it's been a lot of fun to see!Her character, Abby Cooper, is a psychic around the Detroit area, and she has this gorgeous hunk of a boyfriend Dutch, who is FBI - Abby is recuperating from her gunshot wound at Dutch's house - She is upset her 'Crew' (her guides on the Other Side who help her psychically) didn't warn her that she was going to be shot. She shuts down and temporarily stops her career - But in a great move, Dutch asks for her help in some cases he is working on - That is a huge move for Dutch - at first he was skeptical - Great to see him progress as well - Abby goes undercover to find clues to unravel Dutch's case - dangerous work - and exciting! This entry is a wonderful progression of characters - every one of them including pets! You can tell Ms. Laurie is a pet lover - and that is a big plus in my book. One of the things I like about this series is that Ms. Laurie shows us the process a psychic takes to get 'in the zone' - it is fascinating! It accurately depicts the psychic experience -Ms. Laurie is a gifted psychic and her website is great - Her writing style is smooth and reading it is like being next to her and hearing her telling you this story -If you are a mystery fan, metaphysical fan, etc. this is a great addition to your collection -Keep 'em coming, Victoria!

My favorite parts: Humor and compassion
The book begins with a classic battle of wits: cat vs. human. Abby tells about the situation with humor, and I had to laugh, because after a very similar situation of "moving in" on another cat's "territory," I know exactly what Abby was going through. Cat-lovers and dog-lovers alike will be able to relate to Abby's predicament. In addition to the humor in the story, I thought Abby's compassion for the woman she met at the prison on her first visit was very classy. This woman, very pregnant, notices Abby staring at her (Abby's intuition has kicked in, is why Abby's paying such attention), and snaps rudely at Abby to back off. Abby does, but later, courageously approaches this woman and offers her help. I won't give anything away by telling what happens, but I was touched by the friendship that develops from a first meeting that was a tad hostile.I like how characters from previous books participate in Crime Seen; everything flows well and belongs.

One of the most enjoyable series out there!
If you enjoy well written characters, interesting plots that will keep you guessing, and a little romance - this is the series for you. The protagonist is very likable and it was really easy to relate to and care about her.

Love this series
Love this series. Not a down time in the book. Fast paced and witty. One of my favorite series of all time except her prejudice shows through on any type of person how does not fit into her perfect world like anorexic people, fat people, ugly people, etc. It distracts from the story.

Another Great Book in the Series
I am a big fan of the Psychic Eye Mysteries as well as Victoria Laurie's Ghost Hunter Mystery Series. Laurie changes the situation and/or location just enough for each book to keep them from getting repetitive. I can't wait to see where the series goes from here!
