I only use it for servicing my lawnmower, very poor do not buy ! **Q: what is the height range without the castors fitted?** A: Hi.sorry for delay in responding.Bike is laid up on the lift. So,fully down I measure 13 inches floor to lift platform.This includes castors which add about 3inches so I reckon floor to platform fully lowered without castors is 10 inches. I then raised it by 18 inches to 28 inches without castors / 31 inches with castors before the bike started to catch the shed roof! The printed spec says 870 mm max which is about 34 inches ,so deducting the 3 inch castor height I reckon that equates to a useable range without castors from 10 inches to 31 inches fully raised. Hope this helps.By the way the unit is solid and is about half the price of the branded equivalent. Rgds Tom **Q: is this item easy to put together** A: Hi . dead easy. It's almost completely built already. The pedal arm to drop the lift requires one screw to secure. There are two u bolts that fit in the top platform with nuts and washers (choice of position s) also dead easy. There are two clamp bolts to attach to the bike wherever you like .
