This was a present for a family member who was determined to improve her culinary arts. One of the best things I have ever bought. I use it so frequently as well. Not just for rice, but healthier versions of rice and there are a lot of fun recipes online for this item. I absolutely love it and could not live without it anymore. Easy to use, so so easy to clean and it was a really good price when I got it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Rice, Porridge Lava!

This makes great white rice, though we add slightly more water than it suggests to get it perfect for us... Have tried following the instructions for reduced carb rice, which ended up not cooked ... when I cooked one cup of porridge on the suggested setting it erupted through the vent like lava. I bought it to do the different tasks as I am disabled so lifting hot pans not safe. Now wishing I had gone for a straight rice cooker as won't be doing those things again the waste of food and clean up are too much for me to cope with.
