Shorter 20' strands are much, much easier than trying to hang a 50' + strand. All lights worked right out of the box. Nice and bright. Will use 5 lengths wrapped around 25' garland over/around front entry and will be same number of lights as before. (two 56' strands w/250 lights apiece.) I have struggled mightily hanging the two 56' lengths. Wife wants 6th strand wrapped around the crooked trunk of a scottish pine. Happy wife, happy life.
