The old winch was inop and a new one needed. The installation was seamless, bolted in the same holes as the previous one. Basic functions work, wireless remote is great. Mounted it up in a receiver hitch cradle with zero issues. Put it straight to work winching heavy materials onto my trailer. Remotes work fine, winch looks good and did everything I asked of it. Two minor picks, the cast metal hook is not confidence inspiring and generally clunky and lame, also the rope lead is clearly not going to be as durable as steel cable. Not a surprise but always a decision to make when choosing a winch.
