I'd made the mistake of purchasing a certain pair of shoes that just wrecked my feet. Started as plantar fasciitis and progressed to visible bruising and pockets of fluid on the bottom of my foot. I don't have flat arches or normally have issues, just damage from those shoes. I got new shoes, but couldn't take off work to really allow things to heal properly. I haven't had these inserts long but THEY HAVE HELPED SO MUCH. My feet are healing and I can be on them several hours before they really start to hurt. I noticed greatly reduced pain the first day I used them. They are thick, which means your shoes may be a bit tight vertically if they aren't already roomy, but it's worth it. The depth of the inserts is what makes these good. Good arch support too, they are a firm gel.
