The temp gauge was accurate and the ball valves worked as they should and did not leak. Installing the hardware was easy when following the included instructions. They even provide plumbers tape. The pot is very durable... Mine came ever so slightly out of round (enough for me to notice and bother me but not smashed or damaged by any means) and it is very hard to try and bend it back. The steel used to make this item appears to be good quality. The handles are sturdy and welded on. Not as good of quality of welds as higher priced items but very good for this price point. My propane burner got soot all over it on the outside and the wort on the inside left a sticky mess when I was finished brewing. Both came off with no problem except the very bottom on the outside which was exposed to direct flame and had some remaining black char which I expected. Overall I'm very happy with this pot and will likely buy two more eventually to finish my Brew system. I definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to Brew ten gallon batches of homebrew beer. Review: first impression , high priced but worked fine - heavy duty, well made , looks cool. bought a 40 quart for a 15 lb turkey , 30 might of been big enough , not using it till this weekend . Lucky i had a back up heat gage ,the one on the cooker only goes up to 220, you , need 375/400 for a turkey, I drilled a hole in the lid and put a gage in from the top .
