Review: Great product at a good price - I’ve always thought buying things like axle stands online are a bit of a risk so I spent a lot of time researching before I bought. These come in a decent box which is handy for storage. The stands appear well made, welds are substantial and neat, no sharp edges anywhere and the red finish looks good. They’re easy to assemble and there is a tag for bending to keep the ratchet jack parts in place in the frame (personally I’ve not used these so I can easily dismantle for storage). Security pins are good quality and fit nicely. I’ve used them twice so far to lift a 3 Series BMW so well under the 2 tonne capacity. Easy to use and felt safe and secure getting underneath with both front wheels removed. Just the Job! Plenty of height available and the car felt stable enough to loosen off some seized fasteners on the front suspension.

**Q: how high do they go?**
A: Im not sure of the Max height but they go high enough to list a suburban and get wheels off. I just used them this weekend for brake job. I would do a search in google to find the max height, they also make some stands that are meant for SUVs which go higher. If you need to get a transmission out or something like that these wont go high enough.

A: Base dimensions = 6.5" x 7.25"  Min height = 11.5"  Max height = 16"

**Q: How much does a single jack hold? 3000 lbs? Or is it 3000 lbs per pair?**
A: These jacks are rated for 3 tons for the pair, meaning evenly distributed across two jack stands (the pair). This means that the load placed on the PAIR should not exceed 3 tons. Using 4 stands to lift a 4 corners of a vehicle is not recommended and the pair should be used for both sides of the front or both sides of the rear, not to be used for lifting a single side of the vehicle at the front and rear point. Whether a single stand or a pair of stands, the rated capacity is a 3 ton, balanced and centered load. The regulations, at least as it relates to the US, are quite specific on this.

**Q: missing safety pin.  where can I find or purchase it?**
A: Thats a good question?  A missing pin means poor quality control.  The safety pins that came with mine wouldn't fit properly, therefore these jacks are not safe.  I returned these unsafe jacks and ordered better ones from a different seller.  Are you sure you want to try and buy missing parts and use these jacks?  Good luck and be very very careful.

Really like these stands, the are sturdy and well put together and I like the pin locking mechanism. I had my car sitting on these in no time and was confident they would hold, which they did. Good price in my opinion and are far safer than the Jack on its own.
