I'm a very critical reviewer, but this one is just wow!My 8 y/o hates reading, she's good at it, but we have to fight to make her do her 20 min reading assigment.I saw this book on her search history on my phone, and bought it as a surprise.She jumped up and down in joy... and boy she wouldn't let it done until she finished the whole damn book.And the story is very well written, the first line is those of a masterpiece "Gabby Gomes should have seen it coming," and i was hooked, listening to her rear a beautiful story of a girl super hero.I checked out Montijo's other books, they're all boy superhero stories, but the cliff hanger at the end says the author is putting a place holder for a sequel...
