Review: Quite a laugh! - When I first tried this lens cleaner cd it seemed to be faulty. The words and music stuttered and broke off and I intended to return it. However, I left it stumbling and stuttering away whilst I got on with other tasks and eventually after around 20 minutes I heard it come to an end. When I removed it there were little dark bits on the playing side. It occurred to me that this could be dirt that had been removed. I blew it off and tried the cd again. This time no problem! Played perfectly and came to an end after 5 mins. I tried it again to make sure and again no problem at all! I suspect the problem with the first attempt was because this was the first time the lens had been cleaned in over 12 years and the cd cleaner must have been struggling to remove the build-up of dirt!!! (Up until recently I didn't realize one needed to clean the lens.) I am so glad I didn't rush to return it as "faulty". It is simple to use and very effective. It has made a wonderful difference to the sound quality of my cds. I recommend it and will buy it again if and when necessary. (I think it said in instruction leaflet that it will do around 300 cleans.) Review: Used once and problem fixed. - I bought this because a small dvd player had stopped recognising dad's or freezing whilst they played. I used the cleaner disc once, and straight away it worked perfectly each time. ## Features - 【What it can do】The lens in a DVD / CD player eventually gets dusty; this especially is true if you move CDs between your indoor and car stereos. Dust reduces the optical signal and usually causes even clean discs to skip; The Reshow lens cleaner disc solves the problem. It is a nice addition to any physical media set up, especially when your hardware starts to get on the old side. - 【Easy to use】There are no cumbersome operation steps. Place the disc in your DVD / CD player and start it. A short message ("Cleaning takes 5 minutes") is followed by a left / right sound check and a musical selection (that demos your system's bass response). It will work to clean your device and even plays nice music while it runs. The most important plus is that those cds we have been playing sound much, much richer. Cleaning is complete at the musical selection's end. - 【Advanced technology】 Using advanced mirror Microfiber brushes, it can efficiently remove dirt and extend the life of the player. This will do the trick without scratching the optics. Audio CD playback starts at the center; spinning at 500 rpm and slows to 200 RPM at the outer edge. So in just a minute each of the brushes will pass the lens ~260 times, or ~600 little brushes. That's all it took. - 【Reusable】The disc can be used 30 times (brush fatigue) and the instruction sheet includes a 30 cleaning check-off. Cleaning it every few days to keep your equipment in its original state for a long time. - 【What you will receive】Reshow CD Cleaning Disc*1, Cleaning Solution*1, Microfiber Cleaning Cloth *1, User Manual *1, 12-month warranty. And we are 24 hours standby to serve you. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0C1GHRGKH | | Audio Recording | No | | Best Sellers Rank | 6,045 in Electronics & Photo ( See Top 100 in Electronics & Photo ) 84 in Audio & Video Cleaning & Repair Products | | Brand | Reshow | | Brand Name | Reshow | | Colour | Black, White, Red | | Compatible Devices | CD/DVD Player | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 1,454 Reviews | | Enclosure Material | microfibers | | File Format | MP3, WAV, ISO, BIN | | Manufacturer | Reshow | | Manufacturer Part Number | CD | | Material | microfibers | | Media Type | OpticalDisc | | Model Name | Kit Limpiador de Lentes Láser Reshow | | Model Number | model 2 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of items | 1 | | Set Name | Reshow Laser Lens Disc Cleaning Set | | UPC | 716032944839 | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Colour:** white, grey, or black - **Brand:** Reshow - **Material:** Microfiber - **UPC:** 716032944815 ## Images ![Reshow CD Player Cleaner - Laser Lens and Disc Cleaning Set for CD/VCD/DVD Player, Includes Microfiber Cloth, Cleaning Disc and Solution - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71-rFEyZEwL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite a laugh! *by J***A on 3 November 2024* When I first tried this lens cleaner cd it seemed to be faulty. I used the cleaner disc once, and straight away it worked perfectly each time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quite thick CD cleaner *by M***N on 7 July 2024* Unfortunately this CD cleaning disc was too thick for my Sony mini hi fi unit 5 disc player and it didn’t work. However it did work perfectly on my portable cd player. Also had cleaning fluid and cloth for cleaning the discs and an easy to read instruction manual. Well worth the money. ## Frequently Bought Together - Reshow CD Player Cleaner, Laser Lens Cleaning Disc Cleaning Set for CD/VCD/DVD Player, Included Microfiber Cloth, Cleaning Disc and Cleaning Solution - Audio Tape Cassette Head Cleaner Cleaning Fluids Care Wet Maintenance Kit for Cassette Player by Reshow (1 bottles of Cleaning Fluid) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.vu/products/560727261-reshow-cd-player-cleaner-laser-lens-and-disc-cleaning-set](https://www.desertcart.vu/products/560727261-reshow-cd-player-cleaner-laser-lens-and-disc-cleaning-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Vanuatu* *Store origin: VU* *Last updated: 2026-10-30*
