This is exactly that. Yes, you can tell the material it's made of is not leather, and it's not the absolutely best imitation leather I've ever seen, but it's attractive, the hardware is substantial not flimsy, and the bag has the slouchy modern streamlined look I was going for. I now prefer a faux-leather bag to a real leather bag anyway, for reasons of weight and of ethics, and as long as it looks good, as this one does, for me the choice is a no-brainer. It's holding up great; I've had it for months and carry it often and it looks brand new. It's well made: the details look good and the handles can stand up to putting a reasonable amount of things in the bag. It's lightweight -- much lighter than a leather bag would be -- but still sturdy. And the price is so reasonable -- it's a no-guilt, no-regrets investment.
